The SRIHARI Satsang Samiti carefully selects brothers and
sisters from the rural hinterlands for the formation of storytellers and scholars.
Once
chosen, they undergo a rigorous nine-month training program at the Samitis
established centers throughout the country, imbuing them with discipline, self-control, and a
mastery of the art of storytelling.
Successfully completing their training, these
storytellers are sent to the forest areas to educate the local communities on their cultural
heritage, traditions, and way of life through the epics of the Ramayana, Shrimad
Bhagavatam, and Shiva Purana. In the village centers, they conduct
daily, weekly, and fortnightly Satsang, and engage in group study to instill awareness among the
villagers.
These Vyas and Acharyas journey from village to
village, organizing religious gatherings and promoting a collective commitment to addiction-free
living.
